Tiger Brands is looking for a suitably qualified and capable Despatch Clerk to join its team in Pretoria.

This is an exciting opportunity for an organised individual who can support the efficient coordination and dispatch of goods while ensuring that deliveries are handled accurately, safely and efficiently.

The successful candidate will be expected to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the smooth movement of products from the relevant facility to their destinations.

The Despatch Clerk will be involved in activities relating to the planning, coordination and dispatch of deliveries.

Key responsibilities may include:

• Assisting with the planning and coordination of delivery activities.
• Supporting the preparation and dispatch of orders and goods.
• Ensuring that dispatch activities are completed accurately and efficiently.
• Planning cost-effective delivery routes where required.
• Coordinating with relevant teams to ensure that deliveries are dispatched on time.
• Communicating with drivers, colleagues and other stakeholders regarding dispatch requirements.
• Responding appropriately to emergency situations that may affect dispatch and delivery operations.
• Assisting with resolving delivery-related issues as they arise.
• Ensuring that relevant dispatch information and documentation is accurate and properly maintained.
• Supporting the team in meeting daily operational and delivery requirements.
• Monitoring dispatch activities and communicating delays or challenges to the relevant parties.
• Following company procedures, operational standards and workplace safety requirements.
• Maintaining a high level of accuracy when dealing with orders, documentation and dispatch information.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to provide an effective and timely dispatch service.
